Description
Fluke T5-600/62MAX+/1AC II IR Thermometer, Electrical Tester and Voltage Detector Kit
This kit is designed to help electricians and HVAC technicians solve problems quicker. Test first for overheated electrical devices using an IR thermometer; then use electrical test tools to find out more about the problem.
What Comes With the Kit:
Fluke T5-600
Fluke 62 MAX+ IR Thermometer
Fluke 1AC II
About the Fluke T5-600:
Electrical tester with OpenJawTM Current
The Fluke T5-600 Electrical Tester lets you check voltage, continuity and current with one compact tool. With the T5-600, all you have to do is select volts, ohms, or current and the tester does the rest.
The OpenJaw current lets you check current up to 100A – without breaking the circuit. Its tough test leads stow neatly in the back of the tester, making it easy to tote the T5-600 in your tool pouch. Detachable SlimReach test probes are customized for national electrical standards. The test leads accept optional accessories such as clips and specialty probes. The optional H5 holster lets you clip the T5 onto your belt.
Also available in 1000V – see the Fluke T5-1000 Voltage, Continuity and Current Tester
About the Fluke 62 MAX+
Small in size extremely accurate and very easy to use. IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.
Designed with your on-the-job needs in mind, the new Fluke 62 MAX and 62 MAX + infrared thermometers are everything you’d expect from the experts in measurement tools. Small in size, extremely accurate and very easy to use. IP54 rated for dust and water resistance. Precise yet rugged enough to take a 3-meter drop. In fact, the 62 MAX and 62 MAX + are so tough, they’re the only IR thermometers around you can handle without care.
If you’ve ever used an infrared thermometer, then you may have been fooled regarding the temperature reading. That’s because IR thermometers project a measurement cone at a surface and take the average temperature of the cone at the target. Although most IR thermometers have a laser pointer, a laser is a line, not a cone, and you may think that you’re getting temperature at the laser point only. Fluke’s 62 Max+ uses two rotating laser pointers that show you the size of the measurement area. It covers the temperature range from -30°C to 650°C with a response time less than 300 ms. The Model 62 Max uses a single laser pointer and covers the temperature range from -30°C to 500°C.
The Max 62 and Max 62+ are designed to withstand drops up to 3 m. Is screen is located in a position and with a viewing angle 15°) that, in many cases, lets you see the display without having to move the thermometer from the measuring point. For most measurements, you simply pull the trigger once you’ve identified the measurement point.
Why IR Thermometers?
Temperature is often the first indication of potential problems in electrical and mechanical applications. But how can you easily determine if an electrical panel has a hot spot, a motor is overheating or an HVAC system is inefficient? The answer is with an infrared IR) thermometer. With handheld, non-contact IR thermometers, you can instantly measure equipment temperatures in hard-to-reach or hazardous areas. And with early detection of abnormal temperatures comes early correction of problems.
Why Fluke 62 MAX and Fluke 62 MAX+?
Designed with your on-the-job needs in mind, the new Fluke 62 MAX and 62 MAX+ infrared thermometers are everything you’d expect from the experts in measurement tools: small in size, extremely accurate and very easy to use. About the Fluke 1AC II:
The next generation VoltAlert™ AC non-contact voltage testers from Fluke are easy to use – just touch the tip to a terminal strip, outlet, or supply cord. When the tip glows red and the unit beeps, you know there’s voltage present. Electricians, maintenance, service, safety personnel, and homeowners can quickly test for energized circuits in the workplace or at home.
