RED TEK 22a, a hydrocarbon-based refrigerant, is designed as a direct replacement and retrofit refrigerant option for replacing R22 substitutes in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. RED TEK 22a is a 100% natural organic, HC refrigerant that is non-ozone depleting and non-global warming.
Compatible with all R22 lubricants and components
Operates at a lower head pressure than conventional refrigerants – providing improved and more efficient cooling
Works great with RED TEK Gauge and Hose (14-6132)
Self sealing can valve allows for removal of installation hose from partially used cans. Size: 8 oz. (237 g)
Designed as an environmentally safe, efficient refrigerant replacement for ozone depleting R22 in home and commercial air conditioning systems
NOTE: Environmental regulations require the home air conditioning system be empty of, or properly evacuated of, R22 refrigerant by certified personnel prior to charging the system with alternative products.
